Three $2 million Mega Millions tickets sold at same Danbury Stop & Shop

DANBURY, CT — Three winning Mega Millions tickets worth a staggering $2 million each were sold at the same Stop & Shop location in Danbury, according to Connecticut Lottery officials.

The lucky tickets were purchased at Stop & Shop #644 and matched five of the six winning numbers for the November 10 drawing, including the Megaplier — which boosted the standard $1 million Match 5 prize to $2 million.

All three tickets were purchased at the 44 Lake Avenue Extension location, making it one of the most significant multi-ticket sales at a single retailer in recent state lottery history.

The Connecticut Lottery has not yet released the identities of the winners. Each prize remains unclaimed as of Wednesday.

Players have 180 days from the drawing date to claim their prizes. Officials urge winners to sign the back of their tickets and keep them in a secure location until they can be validated at Lottery headquarters.
