Three Maryland lottery players win big as Mega Millions jackpot climbs to $965 million

BALTIMORE, MD — While no one hit the massive Mega Millions jackpot Tuesday night, three Maryland lottery players walked away with major prizes — including two $20,000 winners and a $50,000 Bonus Match 5 hit, officials announced.

A pair of Mega Millions tickets sold in Maryland matched five numbers plus the optional Megaplier, earning $20,000 each in the November 11 drawing. One winning ticket was purchased at Montgomery Exxon, 6310 Washington Boulevard in Elkridge (Howard County), and the other at Penn Liquors, 5634 Silver Hill Road in District Heights (Prince George’s County).

The lucky numbers drawn were 10, 13, 40, 42, 46, and Mega Ball 1.

Meanwhile, a Bonus Match 5 ticket sold in Hagerstown matched all five regular numbers plus the Bonus Ball, earning a $50,000 top prize. That ticket was sold at AC&T, 1701 Dual Highway in Washington County. The winning numbers were 1, 9, 32, 33, 36, and Bonus Ball 11.

Retailers who sold the winning tickets will also benefit — AC&T will receive a $500 bonus for selling the top-prize Bonus Match 5 ticket.

All three prizes remain unclaimed. Lottery officials urge winners to sign the backs of their tickets immediately and store them in a safe place. Prizes must be claimed within 182 days of the drawing date. Any prize over $25,000 must be claimed through the Maryland Lottery headquarters in Baltimore by appointment only.
