PHILADELPHIA, PA – Three men were shot late Friday night following a fight inside the Moonlight Lounge on the 6xx block of Limekiln Pike, police said.
Officers from the 14th District responded around 11:46 p.m. to reports of a person with a gun and found a 54-year-old man suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
He was taken by police to Jefferson Einstein Hospital, where he underwent surgery and remains in critical condition.

Two more victims arrive at hospital
While officers were at Jefferson Einstein Hospital, a silver Mazda SUV arrived carrying two additional victims from the same incident. A 35-year-old man was shot in the hip and underwent surgery, while a 22-year-old man sustained a gunshot wound to the right hand. Police said the younger man drove both victims to the hospital for treatment.
Evidence recovered at the scene
At the Moonlight Lounge, investigators found fired cartridge casings and projectiles throughout the establishment. Detectives believe a physical altercation inside the bar escalated into gunfire involving several unidentified individuals.
At least one firearm was recovered, though police have not said whether any arrests were made.
Investigation continues
The Philadelphia Police Shooting Investigation Group is leading the case and working to identify those responsible. Detectives are reviewing surveillance footage and interviewing witnesses who were inside the bar when the fight broke out.
