TINTON FALLS, N.J. – Police are trying to locate the owner of a small black dog found wandering near the intersection of Newman Springs Road and Hance Avenue on Tuesday afternoon.
According to the Borough of Tinton Falls Police Department, the dog was located around 4:15 p.m. and is currently being held safely at police headquarters while the Monmouth County SPCA responds to take custody.
The small dog has medium-length black fur, floppy ears, and a feathered tail. Officers described her as friendly and calm when found.
