Taylor Swift fans in NJ get midnight access to new album at 11 Target stores
TOMS RIVER, NJ – Taylor Swift’s latest release is set to hit shelves with a midnight launch — and New Jersey fans won’t have to wait until morning to get their hands on it.
On Oct. 3, 11 Target locations across the Garden State will open at midnight for the release of Swift’s 12th studio album, “The Life of a Showgirl.” The rollout is part of a nationwide event involving 500 Target stores.
Target will carry three exclusive editions of the album, each featuring unique artwork and bonus content, alongside the standard version. Fans will be limited to four CDs per purchase, while supplies last.
The New Jersey stores participating in the midnight release are located in:

- Deptford
- Jersey City
- Mantua
- Middletown
- Mount Laurel
- Princeton

- Rockaway

Target has a history of partnering with Swift on exclusive editions. Last year, the chain reported record-breaking sales with “The Tortured Poets Department” album and a hardcover Eras Tour book, which became the highest-selling new book release of the year.
Swift revealed details of her new album during an Aug. 12 appearance on “New Heights,” the podcast hosted by her fiancé Travis Kelce and his brother Jason. “It just comes from the most infectiously joyful, wild, dramatic place I was in in my life,” she said. “This is the record I’ve been wanting to make for a very long time.”
