Toms River Police Department Honored by Big Brothers, Big Sisters of Ocean County

The Toms River Police Foundation was honored by Big Brothers Big Sisters of Ocean County for our Bigs In Blue Program; a one-to-one mentoring program that connects youth with police in communities throughout our nation, building strong, trusting, lasting relationships. We are the first police department in New Jersey to adopt Bigs In Blue. It was a true honor to receive this recognition from such a great organization! Through their mentorship programs children have the support they need to mature into responsible and respectful adults. 100% of their Littles have finished high school and continued their educations in college or trade school. To everyone at Big Brothers Big Sisters of Ocean County, we salute you for your dedication and commitment to the youth of this community!
