Trafford Man Arrested for Stabbing and Assault

TRAFFORD, PA – On Thursday, Trafford Borough Police apprehended Anthony Salvadore, a local resident, following a stabbing incident.

Police were called to Seventh Street in Trafford Borough, where they found a victim with neck and head stab wounds. The victim was transported to Forbes Hospital by a neighbor.

Witnesses at the scene identified Salvadore as the assailant, who reportedly stabbed the victim and punched a woman in the chest after a neighborhood dispute.

Police located Salvadore at a nearby address, where he was found lying on a couch with a bloodstained folding knife in close proximity. Salvadore resisted arrest, necessitating assistance from nearby police departments to take him into custody.

Salvadore faces multiple charges, including attempted homicide, aggravated assault, simple assault, harassment, and disorderly conduct. It is important to note that these charges are accusations, and Salvadore is presumed innocent until proven guilty.
