Travel Agency Owner Arrested for Fraudulent Credit Card Purchases

Delaware State Police recently arrested Jane Fencer, 55, of Townsend for fraudulent credit card purchases made through her travel agency, Wanderlust Tours and Travel.

The arrest came after an investigation that revealed multiple unauthorized credit card transactions at the Middletown-based agency in late 2023. Fencer utilized a former customer’s credit card for over $19,000 worth of unauthorized purchases, leading to a warrant for her arrest.

On April 19, she surrendered at Troop 2 and faced charges of theft and unlawful use of payment cards. The investigation remains ongoing, and anyone with relevant information is encouraged to contact Detective B. Beck.
