MOON TOWNSHIP, PA — The Allegheny County Police Department’s Homicide Unit is investigating after two adult males were discovered deceased in Montour Run Creek. The discovery occurred near the Montour Run Trail following a call to County 9-1-1 at 4:05 PM.
First responders arrived at the scene to find one body floating in approximately 6 feet of water. During the retrieval operation, divers located a second body submerged in about 10 feet of water. Preliminary assessments by authorities indicate no signs of foul play at this time.
Both bodies have been transported to the Allegheny County Medical Examiner’s Office, where autopsies will be conducted to determine the cause and manner of death. Further information will be released as the investigation continues and more details become available.
