MCKEESPORT, PA – A two-vehicle collision on W 5th Ave left two drivers injured on Thursday morning. The incident occurred at approximately 9:41 a.m. in the 700 block of the street.
First responders found an adult male and an adult female driver with injuries. The male driver was taken to a nearby hospital and is currently in critical condition. The female driver was also transported to a hospital where she remains in stable condition.
The Allegheny County Police Department’s Collision Reconstruction Unit is investigating the incident. Preliminary reports indicate that the male driver lost control of his vehicle, entering the opposing travel lane sideways before colliding with the female driver’s vehicle.
