BOSTON, MA – Boston Police are searching for two women accused of vandalizing several kiosks inside the Boston Common on Friday evening.
The incident occurred around 7 p.m. and was reported to officers about an hour later when security personnel noticed damage to multiple kiosks inside the Boston Common Garage area.
Responding officers from District A-1 arrived at 1 Charles Street around 8:25 p.m. to take the report and review surveillance footage.

Surveillance images show two suspects
According to Boston Police, security footage captured two female suspects near Kiosk 1 at about 7 p.m. Both appeared to engage in vandalism before leaving the area. Security later confirmed that three kiosks had been damaged.
Photos released by investigators describe the first suspect as a white female with short white hair, wearing a black jacket over a light-colored hoodie, black pants, white socks, and black sneakers. She was seen carrying a cardboard “Chewy” box.
The second suspect is described as a white female with short, partially gray hair, black eyeglasses, a black jacket over a dark hoodie, dark blue jeans, and a black-and-red crossbody bag.
It is not known at this time whether these women are locals, or were in the city for the weekend’s No Kings protests.
Detectives investigating incident
Detectives assigned to District A-1 are now reviewing surveillance footage and gathering additional evidence. Police have not released details about the extent of the damage or whether the suspects may be linked to any other incidents in the area.
