SALISBURY, MD – Two Salisbury men are behind bars after allegedly confronting and attempting to assault a witness outside the Wicomico County Circuit Court during an active homicide trial.
Deputies say the incident happened late Tuesday morning, October 21, outside the courthouse on North Division Street.
The suspects were quickly detained before the situation escalated.

Deputies stop confrontation outside courthouse
According to the Wicomico County Sheriff’s Office, 24-year-old Camren My’son Ali Colon and 22-year-old Izreal Messiah Wallace were seated in the courtroom audience when a witness testified in an ongoing homicide trial. After the testimony ended, the pair followed the witness out of the courtroom and into the street.
Deputies assigned to courthouse security saw Colon and Wallace confront the witness, reportedly shouting insults tied to the witness’s statements and attempting to start a physical altercation.
Swift action prevents escalation
Officers intervened immediately, separating all parties and preventing further confrontation. Both Colon and Wallace were detained at the scene and later arrested on multiple charges, including retaliation against a witness, obstruction of justice, disorderly conduct, and attempted second-degree assault.
They are being held without bond at the Wicomico County Detention Center as the investigation continues.
The Sheriff’s Office emphasized that all defendants are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in court.
