Two Teens Attacked and Robbed by NYC Scooter Bandits

NEW YORK, NY—A violent moped robbery occurred on Friday, when two teens, aged 15 and 19, were assaulted and robbed by two unidentified assailants.

The victims were approached at around 11:20 AM and were slashed on the left shoulder and right hand after they refused to surrender their moped. The perpetrators then forcibly removed the victims from the vehicle and fled in an unknown direction.

Descriptions of the suspects have been released: one is of medium complexion with a slim build, last seen in a black hooded sweatshirt and black sweatpants.

The other is of light complexion and slim build, wearing a blue hat, black sweatshirt, green gloves, and grey sweatpants. Both victims received on-scene medical treatment following the incident.
