GLEN BURNIE, MD — Authorities are investigating two separate violent incidents that left two men hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries, officials announced Monday.

In the early hours of April 28, 2025, Northern District officers responded to multiple reports of gunfire and an injured individual in the 100 block of Charter Road in Glen Burnie. Upon arrival at approximately 2:18 a.m., officers found an adult male suffering from gunshot wounds to the upper body. He was transported by fire department personnel to a local hospital for treatment.

Meanwhile, in a separate case, Western District officers responded to a stabbing incident on April 25, 2025, around 4:35 p.m. at Miss Toya’s Kitchen in the 1400 block of S. Main Chapel Way in Gambrills.

Gambrills stabbing suspect identified

Upon arrival at the restaurant, officers found an adult male with stab wounds to the upper body. The victim’s injuries were determined to be non-life-threatening. Officers interviewed witnesses at the scene and were able to later identify a suspect.

The investigation into the Gambrills stabbing remains active. Authorities are urging anyone with information to contact Western District detectives at 410-222-6155.

Authorities seek public assistance in both cases

Both incidents are described as isolated, and officials have not indicated any immediate threat to the wider public. No arrests have been announced yet in either case.
