UTICA, NY – Mayor Michael P. Galime has declared a snow emergency for the City of Utica beginning at 10 p.m. Tuesday due to an anticipated snowstorm expected to impact the region overnight.
According to the mayor’s announcement, all vehicles must be removed from city streets by 10 p.m. tonight to ensure safe passage for snow removal crews and emergency responders. Vehicles left on the streets after the deadline will be subject to ticketing and towing at the owner’s expense.
The snow emergency will remain in effect until further notice. City officials are urging residents to comply with parking restrictions and to monitor updates for any changes to emergency declarations or cleanup operations.
