UTICA, NY – A Utica resident helped police solve a burglary after spotting a familiar face breaking into their home on a surveillance feed last week.
The incident occurred October 27 on the 1200 block of Noyes Street, where the homeowner watched live footage showing a man inside their residence taking property.
Officers later confirmed the suspect had forced entry through a damaged rear door before stealing items from the home.

Familiar suspect identified through video evidence

On October 30, officers located and arrested Church without incident. He was charged in connection with the burglary and transported to the Utica Police Department for processing.
