Utica Police Investigate After Argument Ends With Facial Fork Stabbing

Utica, NY – Utica Police and Fire units were dispatched to a residence on the 1400 block of Kemble St on Thursday at approximately 8:00 PM regarding a stabbing investigation.

Upon arrival, officials spoke with the victim who reported they had been engaged in an argument with a male acquaintance. During the argument, the suspect allegedly stabbed the victim in the face with a fork.

The injuries sustained by the victim were not life-threatening. The suspect, David Bowie, 38, of Utica, was taken into custody without incident.

Bowie was subsequently transported to the Utica Police Department, where he was charged with attempted assault in the second degree.
