WASHINGTON, DC – The D.C. Metro Police Department is asking for help identifying a vehicle implicated in a Northeast armed robbery. The incident occurred early this morning as a victim cycled home along the 300 block of E Street.

At around 12:35 AM, a black SUV approached the victim, with the passenger emerging to demand the victim’s belongings as the driver brandished a firearm. Following the victim’s compliance, the suspects fled with the stolen items. Surveillance footage captured the suspect’s vehicle, aiding in the ongoing investigation.

Authorities urge anyone with information about the vehicle or the robbery to refrain from intervening directly but to contact police at (202) 727-9099 or send a tip via text to 50411.
