Victim Shot in Chest in Woodland Park Shooting

WOODLAND PARK, NJ – The Passaic County Prosecutor’s Office is currently investigating a shooting that occurred in Woodland Park.

The incident took place around 2 a.m. on Browertown Road in the 200 block area.

Police arrived at the scene following reports of an injured individual. They found a person with a gunshot wound to the chest.

The victim, whose identity has not been disclosed, was immediately transported to St. Joseph’s Hospital. As of 4 a.m., the victim’s condition was still being assessed.

The motive behind the shooting is under investigation, and no arrests have been made so far in connection with this incident.
