Washington, DC — A daytime argument in Northeast Washington escalated into a robbery caught on camera, as police search for suspects who assaulted a victim and fled with stolen property.

The incident occurred around 4:11 p.m. February 12 in the 4800 block of Central Avenue Northeast, according to the Metropolitan Police Department.

Investigators said the victim became involved in an argument with multiple suspects, which turned physical. During the confrontation, the suspects assaulted the victim, took property, and fled the scene.

Surveillance cameras in the area captured images and video of the individuals involved. Police have released the footage as they work to identify those responsible.

No arrests have been announced, and the investigation remains ongoing.
