Wall Township sees wave of holiday arrests including DWIs, warrants, and theft charges

WALL TOWNSHIP, NJ – Police in Wall Township reported a string of arrests over the holiday week, ranging from fugitives and theft to multiple drunk driving charges, according to the department’s latest blotter covering December 22 through December 28.

The week began Monday when Patrolman Collin McCarthy arrested Michael Curran, 39, of Laramie, Wyoming, as a fugitive from justice. Curran was taken into custody on Apple Street during an assist to the Teton County Sheriff and later transported to the Monmouth County Correctional Institution.

On Tuesday, Detective Michael Cacciatore arrested Kyle Emmons, 35, of Eatontown, after Emmons turned himself in on a credit card theft case dating back to July. He was processed and released on a summons.

Christmas Eve brought two arrests: Patrolman Kyle Pelech detained Justin Valente, 24, of Union, on a traffic warrant from Woodbridge following a stop on State Highway 138, while Patrolman Daniel Grothues charged Meaghan Reilly, 35, of Manasquan, with shoplifting and receiving stolen property after an investigation at the Target on State Highway 35.

After the holiday, Patrolman Tyler Russell arrested Vijesh Golamari, 25, of Neptune, on two local traffic warrants and later that day, Patrolman Marc Chavez took Luther Martin, 32, of New Brunswick, into custody on a Wall Township warrant while at the Howell Police Department.

The weekend saw several early morning DWI arrests. On Sunday, Patrolman Chavez stopped Margarito Martinez Hernandez, 40, of Asbury Park, on State Highway 33, and Patrolman Pelech arrested Rachael Seaberg, 50, of Brick, on State Highway 70. Both were released under John’s Law.

Also on Sunday, officers made several warrant-related arrests. Patrolman Mark Daugherty arrested Jose Riano Riano, 31, of Neptune, on a Manville traffic warrant; Patrolman Russell arrested Dean Demarks, 32, of Wall, on a Monmouth Beach warrant; and Patrolman Clint Forgach arrested Elliot McCown, 41, of Cliffwood, on a Middlesex County Sheriff’s warrant. McCown was transported to the Monmouth County Correctional Institution.

Police reminded the public that all individuals listed are presumed innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law.
