Waterford resident hits jackpot on lottery ticket

WATERFORD, Conn. — A Connecticut Lottery player from Waterford, identified as Thayden B., claimed a $20,000 prize after purchasing a winning 20X Cash 9th Edition scratch-off ticket.

The ticket was sold at Sam’s Food Store, located in Waterford. The prize was officially announced by the Connecticut Lottery on July 10.

20X Cash 9th Edition is a popular scratch-off game offering multiple prize tiers. Lottery winnings in Connecticut must be claimed within 180 days of the game’s end-sale date.
