Three winning Take 5 tickets sold in Bronx and Manhattan rake in nearly $30K
New York, NY – Three lucky New Yorkers are waking up nearly $10,000 richer after snagging top-prize winning tickets in Sunday’s Take 5 Evening drawing, with winning tickets sold in both the Bronx and Manhattan.
Each winning ticket is worth $9,472.50, and all three matched the numbers drawn in the September 7 Take 5 Evening game. The winning tickets were sold at:
- New Morris Deli & Grocery at 744 Morris Park Ave in the Bronx
- Monalisa Wine and Liquor Inc at 3490 Broadway in Manhattan
- Luna Deli at 3494 Broadway in Manhattan
The Take 5 game, drawn twice daily, gives players a chance to match five numbers out of 39. The top prize is determined by the number of winners and ticket sales. In this case, the prize was split equally among the three players.
Winners have up to one year from the draw date to claim their prize. The New York Lottery confirmed the results on Monday and said the three retailers will also receive a commission for selling the winning tickets.
The Lottery contributed $3.6 billion to support public schools statewide in the last fiscal year.
