West Seneca Man Sentenced for Assault on Jogger

WEST SENECA, NY – Erie County District Attorney John J. Flynn announced on Friday, that Ryan J. Strunk, 21, was sentenced to four years in prison, followed by three years of post-release supervision.

The charges are related to an incident on September 11, 2021, when the victim was jogging on the New York State Developmental Disabilities Services Office (DDSO) campus. Strunk attacked the victim with a tree branch, causing various cuts and bruises. Strunk was arrested on the scene.

On January 10, 2022, Strunk pleaded guilty to Assault in the Second Degree (Class ā€œDā€ felony).
