“They walk among us,” the website whitehouse.gov/aliens says, a play on the UFO and alien phenomenon that coincides with the President’s release of classified UFO files.

New website tracks immigration arrests nationwide

The website uses the term “alien,” a legal designation found in federal immigration law referring to non-U.S. citizens. The White House says the platform is designed to provide the public with information about immigration enforcement actions across the country.

Data listed for Lakewood indicates the arrests involved individuals from Colombia, Ecuador, Guatemala, Honduras, Mexico, Nicaragua, Peru, and Türkiye.

The website also states that some of those arrested were identified as having gang affiliations.

According to the White House database, the arrests involved individuals accused of a variety of offenses, including assault, burglary, fraudulent activities, immigration violations, obstruction-related offenses, traffic offenses, and weapons crimes.
