Wilkes-Barre Police Investigating After Car Window Smashed with Tequila Bottle

WILKES-BARRE, PA—The Wilkes-Barre City Police Department is investigating a case of criminal mischief that occurred on Saturday, July 28th, 2024, at approximately 10:30 PM on Matson Avenue.

A 54-year-old male resident reported that his vehicle’s windshield was damaged by an empty tequila bottle thrown while it was parked near his home.

Officers arrived at the scene following the dispatch to the victim’s residence, where they began an investigation into the incident.

Currently, no suspects have been identified, and the investigation continues as local authorities seek to determine who is responsible for the damage.
