GLASSPORT, PA – A woman was killed, and her 7-year-old child was injured in a single-vehicle crash in Glassport near the Mansfield Bridge. Police responded to Monoghela Avenue at around 7:44 am on Thanksgiving morning to find the 31-year-old woman deceased and her 7-year-old child in the vehicle suffering from injuries.
The woman, whose name was not released, was pronounced dead at the scene. The child was rushed to the hospital and is listed in stable condition.
No further details were released by the Allegheny County Police Department, which is conducting the investigation.
