Woman shot inside North Philadelphia home on Thanksgiving

PHILADELPHIA, PA – A woman was hospitalized Tuesday evening after being shot inside a property in the city’s 39th District, police said.

The shooting occurred around 5:16 p.m. in the 2800 block of West Clementine Street.

According to investigators, a 31-year-old woman sustained a gunshot wound to the chest and was transported by police to Temple University Hospital, where she was listed in stable condition.

No arrests have been reported at this time.

Detectives with the Philadelphia Police Department’s Shooting Investigation Group are leading the probe and continue to search for suspects and determine a motive.
