Woman Stabbed to Death by Man During Argument in Brooklyn

Brooklyn, MD – On Monday at approximately 9:20 p.m., officers responded to the area of Ritchie Highway and 4th Avenue for a report of an injured person.

Upon arrival, officers found an adult female on the sidewalk with apparent stab wounds. The victim, who has not been positively identified, received treatment at the scene and was then transported to Shock Trauma, where she later succumbed to her injuries.

Witnesses reported that the victim had been in a verbal argument with a male suspect before the stabbing occurred. The suspect had left the scene by the time officers arrived. Authorities believe the victim and suspect knew each other and that the incident was targeted.

The names of the victim and suspect were not released.
