MIDDLETOWN, PA—A Pennsylvania Lottery retailer in York County has sold a Powerball ticket worth $1 million. The winning ticket from the Wednesday, July 3, 2024, drawing was sold at Royal Farms, located at 933 Broad St., Delta.
The ticket successfully matched five of the white balls, numbers 2, 26, 33, 55, 57, but did not match the red Powerball number 22. Royal Farms will receive a $5,000 bonus for selling the winning ticket.
While the identity of the winner remains unknown until the prize is claimed and the ticket validated, winners have one year from the drawing date to claim their prizes. Pennsylvania Lottery advises winners to sign their tickets immediately if purchased at a retailer. For tickets purchased online, winnings will automatically be reflected in the player’s account.
Additionally, the July 3 Powerball drawing saw more than 25,200 other Pennsylvania Lottery tickets win various prizes, including tickets purchased with Power Play and Double Play options.
The Powerball jackpot continues to grow, with the latest jackpot-winning ticket, worth an estimated annuity value of $139.3 million, sold in Ohio. The jackpot had been rolling since June 10, following a win of $222.6 million in New Jersey.
