NEW YORK, NY – A 21-year-old tourist was shot in the back by stray bullets during a shootout between two Times Square street vendors. The shootout began between a handful of CD vendors on the street near the Marriot Marquis sign on 45th Street and Broadway. The Marine, who was visiting the city is now recovering in the hospital. As the verbal dispute escalated, one pulled a gun and fired a shot that struck Samuel Poulen. The incident happened at around 5:45 pm. The gunman remains at large.
