Murphy Blames President Trump for Deaths, Says He Didn’t Know COVID-19 Spread in the Air

TRENTON, NJ – In February and early March, we all watched the spread of COVID-19 in China and Europe.  We watched videos on every news network showing people wearing masks and being quarantined to prevent the spread of the virus.  In fact, most people who are of even average intelligence in the world understand that illnesses like colds (coronaviruses) and the flu are spread through coughing and sneezing.  Some studies even suggest that simply breathing can transmit influence and coronavirus.

Enter New Jersey Governor Phil Murphy, who marches to the beat of science and data.

Murphy today said he didn’t know that.  Neither did his Director of the Department of Health Judith Persichili, nor anyone within the huge bureaucracy of that department.  Instead, Murphy blamed President Donald Trump, who figured it out back in February, for…keeping it a secret.

“If we knew, specifically, that it was transmitted airborne … If we had known that earlier, we would have shut the state meaningfully earlier. We would have gotten to a mandatory masking policy meaningfully earlier. We would have had a stay-at-home mandate put in place,” Murphy said in a CNN interview. “All of which we did, and we did it about as early as any American state, but we would have done it earlier and undoubtedly would have saved lives.”

The revelation comes after Trump was quoted in a Bob Woodard book, “It goes through the air, Bob. That’s always tougher than the touch. You know, the touch, you don’t have to touch things. Right? But the air, you just breathe the air and that’s how it’s passed,” Trump said to Woodward. “And so, that’s a very tricky one. That’s a very delicate one.”

Phil Murphy the science guy also didn’t know that sending hundreds of sick and infected senior citizens into nursing homes across the state would also spread the virus, but he did that too…and well, so far he hasn’t blamed Trump, he just continues to ignore he made an executive decision that killed nearly 10,000 people back in March.

It is now extremely difficult to believe that Governor Phil Murphy had no idea COVID-19 spread through the air…like many viruses do, yet he is always quick to cite a January 2020 Chinese medical study as his basis for continuing the indoor dining shutdown?  Murphy’s science during COVID-19 has never made much sense.  He brags about being a national leader in the fight against the virus, yet his state is second in overall cases and highest in the nation in cases and deaths per capita.  His numbers have always been fuzzy and now, as New Jersey residents have known since he got elected, his politics are about as fuzzy as his COVID-19 numbers.

Murphy said he realized the virus was airborne back in March when Trump made his first public announcement, but in May, during the height of the pandemic, Murphy not only encouraged, but led large scale BLM protests across his state, even exempting such gatherings from his COVID-19 quarantine executive orders.

Phil Murphy has officially politicized COVID-19 weeks ahead of the November 2020 election.  That’s once fact even his own science can’t dispute.
