Middletown, Pa. — A Pennsylvania Lottery Cash 5 with Quick Cash ticket sold in Carbon County has won a $1 million jackpot for the Thursday, August 15 drawing.

The winning ticket, which matched all five numbers—1, 7, 9, 23, and 40—was sold at Friendly Food Mart II, located at 3 Stock St., Nesquehoning. The retailer will receive a $5,000 bonus for selling the jackpot-winning ticket.

Winners can only be identified after prizes are claimed and tickets validated. The main Cash 5 game prize must be claimed within one year of the drawing date, while Quick Cash prizes must be claimed within one year of purchase. Anyone holding the winning ticket should contact the nearest Lottery office or call 1-800-692-7481 for further instructions.

Additionally, over 25,900 other Cash 5 with Quick Cash tickets won prizes in the drawing. Players are encouraged to check their tickets and claim any lower-tier prizes at a Lottery retailer.
