$100K win surprises West Haven lottery player

WEST HAVEN, CT – A Connecticut Lottery player is celebrating a $100,000 windfall after hitting the jackpot in the April 3 CASH5 drawing with a ticket purchased in West Haven.

The winning ticket was sold at Julias Market LLC, located in West Haven. The ticket matched all five numbers drawn in the popular daily lottery game, securing the top prize of $100,000.

As of Friday, the winner has not yet been publicly identified. All Connecticut Lottery draw game prizes must be claimed within 180 calendar days of the draw date.

CASH5 is one of the Connecticut Lottery’s longest-running games, offering daily chances to win with odds of 1 in 324,632 for the top prize.

Julias Market will be awarded a retailer selling bonus for distributing the winning ticket.
