ALLENDALE, NJ – A 108-year-old woman living at the Allendale Community for Senior Living in New Jersey survived living through the 1918 Spanish Flu pandemic and 102 years later, she juts beat the COVID-19 coronavirus pandemic. “It’s very dangerous,” said Sylvia Goldscholl. “I survived everything because I was determined to survive.”
“A tremendous life, a tremendous spirit, and a tremendous show of strength. So, to you, Sylvia, we send you all our best for many more years to come,” Governor Phil Murphy said of her recovery.
