12-Year-Old Boy Robbed on 117th Street

NEW YORK, N.Y. — The New York City Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying individuals connected to a robbery that occurred last Wednesday in East Harlem.

According to police reports, the incident took place on August 14, 2024, at approximately 10 p.m. near the intersection of East 117th Street and Pleasant Avenue.

Two unknown individuals approached a 12-year-old boy, while two others acted as lookouts. The individuals forcibly took the boy’s phone before fleeing the scene on foot.

The young victim declined medical treatment after the incident, police said.

The NYPD has released images of the suspects and is urging anyone with information to come forward. “We are seeking the public’s help in identifying these individuals,” the NYPD stated.
