QUEENS, NY — A disturbing harassment incident occurred on Sunday evening, prompting a police investigation in Queens. At approximately 7:05 PM, a 12-year-old girl was approached and inappropriately touched by an unidentified individual while walking with friends on Woodbine Street at the intersection with Wilson Avenue.

The suspect, who was riding a bicycle, approached the group of children from behind and grabbed the young girl’s buttocks before fleeing the scene northbound on Woodbine Street. Fortunately, no physical injuries were reported following the incident.

The NYPD has obtained media depicting the suspect near the location of the incident and is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the individual. Anyone with information is urged to come forward to help ensure the safety of the community.
