17-Year-Old Charged for Shooting at Linthicum Tabacco House

LINTHICUM, MD – A 17-year-old male was arrested and charged for a shooting that took place Sunday morning in Linthicum.

According to police, at approximately 11:30 a.m., officers responded for a reported shooting that just occurred at the Tobacco House at 829 Nursery Road in Linthicum.

The subsequent police investigation revealed that a fight between multiple parties occurred in the parking lot and a lone suspect shot a handgun.

“All subjects then fled the scene, in vehicles and on foot. As units came into the area, officers observed the suspect whom witnesses described, who immediately began to run,” police said. “With the assistance of K-9, the suspect was located, detained, and positively identified by witnesses as the suspect with the firearm.”

During the investigation, officers were notified that a victim self-reported to a local hospital with gunshot injuries.
