17-Year-Old Shot Monday Night in Philadelphia

PHILADELPHIA, PA — A 17-year-old male was shot in the left forearm Monday evening in the city’s 12th District, police said.

The shooting occurred around 6:25 p.m. on the highway near the 7200 block of Guyer Avenue. Officers transported the victim to the Children’s Hospital of Pennsylvania, where he was listed in stable condition.

Authorities have secured the scene, but no weapon has been recovered, and no arrests have been made.
