LARGO, MD. – An 18-year-old Largo man has been charged with second-degree murder after allegedly shooting and killing a 36-year-old man during an argument outside the residence where both lived, Prince George’s County Police announced Tuesday.
Eu’nyus Maddox is accused of fatally shooting Levelle Mills, also of Largo, shortly after noon Monday. Officers responding to the 500 block of Mt. Lubentia Court East found Mills outside the residence suffering from a gunshot wound.

Mills was rushed to a hospital, where he died a short time later, police said. Maddox was taken into custody at the scene and is being held without bond in the custody of the Department of Corrections.

Police Say Argument Led to Fatal Largo Shooting
Officers were dispatched to the 500 block of Mt. Lubentia Court East at approximately 12:05 p.m. Monday after receiving a report of a shooting.
They found Mills outside the residence with a gunshot wound. He was transported to a hospital but died a short time later, according to police.
The Prince George’s County Police Department Homicide Unit said its preliminary investigation determined that Maddox allegedly shot Mills during an argument.
Police said the two knew each other and lived at the same residence. Investigators did not disclose what prompted the argument or provide additional details about the relationship between the two men.
18-Year-Old Held Without Bond on Murder Charge
Maddox was arrested at the scene following the shooting, police said.
