ANCRAM, N.Y. – A Powerball ticket sold in Ancram won a $50,000 third prize in Monday night’s drawing, the New York Lottery announced Tuesday.
The winning ticket was purchased at P & N Petroleum, located at 1012 State Route 82 in Ancram. It was one of two New York tickets to capture a $50,000 third prize in the Aug. 31 Powerball drawing.
The other $50,000 ticket was sold in Manhattan. Powerball drawings are held every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday at 10:59 p.m.

Ancram Store Sells $50K Powerball Ticket
The New York Lottery identified P & N Petroleum as the Ancram retailer that sold the third-prize-winning ticket following Monday night’s drawing.
