$2.1M lottery ticket sold in Lehigh County as jackpot hit in Cash 5 drawing
MIDDLETOWN, PA — A single lottery ticket sold in Lehigh County matched all five numbers in Thursday’s Cash 5 with Quick Cash drawing, securing a jackpot prize exceeding $2.1 million and setting off a search for the unidentified winner.
The winning numbers drawn Thursday were 14, 19, 24, 26, and 39, producing a jackpot prize of $2,193,775.50 before applicable withholdings. The ticket was sold at Whitehall Mini-Mart, located at 3690 Lehigh St. in Whitehall Township.
The retailer will receive a $10,000 bonus for selling the jackpot-winning ticket.
Lottery officials said the identity of the winner will not be known until the ticket is claimed and validated. Winners of Cash 5 prizes have up to one year from the drawing date to claim the jackpot.
Officials advised anyone holding the winning ticket to contact a Pennsylvania Lottery office or call 1-800-692-7481 for instructions on claiming the prize.
In addition to the jackpot winner, more than 41,700 other Cash 5 with Quick Cash tickets from Thursday’s drawing also secured prizes. Lower-tier prizes can be claimed at authorized lottery retailers.
