Traffic Alert – Lacey Township Police Department – Rt 9 into Berkeley Twp – 12:30 a.m., Monday, January 12, 2015

Traffic Alert (UPDATE) – As of 9:40 a.m. on Monday, January 12, 2015, Route 9 the New Jersey Natural Gas Company has indicated that repairs will continue into the afternoon hours. Route 9 entering Berkeley Township from Lacey Township will be temporarily limited to only one lane of alternating traffic flow while utility crews make emergency repairs related to a natural gas leak.

Traffic delays will worsen with the increased traffic flow throughout the day and into the early evening hours. An alternate route (either the GSP or Western Boulevard) is recommended while the repairs are being made.
