WESTHAMPTON, NJ– The Jersey Intensity 12u team won the 2018 Memorial Day Salute fastpitch tournament, defeating the Lady Jags, out of Jackson 6-3 in the championship game this past weekend.

The Intensity kept the Lady Jags to just three hits over seven innings led from the circle with a dominant pitching performance by Abby Kozo and Paige Schultz.
McKayla Brantley and Sabrina Reballedo each had two hits and drove in runs to help the Intensity win the championship game. Brantley, Reballedo and Holly Lovette each had doubles in the game.
The Intensity went 4-1-1 during the tournament, earning the top seed in the championship bracket after pool play
