Woman 18, Man 23, Shot and Killed in Newark Apartment

NEWARK, DE  –  Police in Newark are reporting the double murder of a man and woman inside the Hunter’s Crossing apartment complex on Saturday.  Police are now looking for the suspect or suspects who shot and killed a 23-year-old man and an 18-year-old woman.
According to a police report by the New Castle County Police,  at approximately 9:17 P.M., oficers from the New Castle County Division of Police were dispatched to the area of Fairway Road for reports of a shooting.  Upon arrival, the responding officers discovered a 23-year-old male, and an 18-year-old female suffering from gunshot wounds. Officers immediately started life savings efforts however, both victims died from their wounds.
Detectives from the New Castle County Division of Police; Criminal Investigation Unit arrived at the scene and assumed the investigation. This is an active and on-going investigation, further updates will follow.
