Cambridge man arrested after pointing guns at crowd

CAMBRIDGE, MA – On 1/14/2020 at approximately 3:00 am Cambridge Police responded to the 600 block of Greenwood Avenue in reference to a male subject pointing a gun at subjects in the area. The caller advised that the suspect got into a black colored vehicle. Officers responding to the area observed the suspect vehicle leaving the area. Officers conducted an investigative stop on the vehicle. Investigation revealed a handgun being in the passenger compartment of the vehicle.  Tyron K. Adams, 29 of Cambridge was arrested and charged with several handgun charges and was found to be prohibited from possessing a firearm in the State of Maryland due to a disqualifying charge. Adams is was held in the Dorchester County Detention Center.
