Man brandishes gun in Manchester road rage incident

MANCHESTER, NH –  A driver in Manchester reported a man brandishing a gun during a fit of road rage, now police are searching for a black Audi A3 suspected of being the vehicle driven by the assailant.

On January 14, 2021 at approximately 5 pm, Manchester Police received a report of a criminal threat involving a gun. The victim told police that he had been driving on Front St, when the car in front of him abruptly stopped in the middle of the road. He honked his horn and tried to drive around the car, but it immediately accelerated. At the stop light on Front St near the 293 south ramp, the victim said he was able to pass the car. He reported that as he did, the driver raised his right arm and pointed a black hand gun toward him.

The driver was able to get a license plate number and the case is under investigation. The car was described as a black Audi A3. Anyone who may have witnessed this incident or has any information is asked to call Manchester Police at 603-668-8711.
