After ratings dive, CNN’s Don Lemon says it’s over for his show

CNN host Don Lemon, an avid Democrat said last year he wanted President Trump out of office at all costs in true journalistic fashion, even if it meant losing ratings and possibly his job. Lemon got his wish and Trump lost the 2020 election.

Lemon knew it was coming. He knew that without Trump, his ratings would tank, but now, he’s become a liberal media martyr. His show has been canceled.

“No. I’m not worried about it,” Lemon said about his dismal post-Trump ratings. “The reason I’m not worried about it is because it beats the alternative. The alternative of him being in there and us having to figure out how we deal with lies, and bigotry, and hate, and the toxicity that was the Trump administration. Which has nothing for me to do with my ideology or politics because people have accused me of being conservative. It has nothing to do with politics.”

His show, CNN Tonight is ending. He will be handing his poorly performing show Monday night, he said. He also said he is not leaving CNN.

It was announced earlier this week that Lemon and Chris Cuomo would be bringing their sometimes hate-filled anti-white, sometimes racist political bantering to a podcast.
