WILLIAMSTOWN, NJ – Sometimes in New Jersey, nothing is sacred, not even the smoker that delivers some of the best BBQ in the entire state. On Monday, somebody stole an expensive smoker trailer at Fat Jack’s BBQ and it means a lot to them and their loyal customers to get it back.

It’s not the first time it was stolen. Several years ago it was stolen and recovered.

“Smoking meats is the lifeline of our business. Some time after we closed at 8pm last evening (Sunday 6/13/21) and opened this morning (Monday 6/14/21) at 9am, our $30,000 smoker was stolen, despite it being both booted and locked,” the restaurant said on Facebook. This is the second time it has been stolen in 5 years. The last time, with the help of news stations, and social media, we were able to recover it.”
