College outfielder runs through fence chasing a home run ball

Sometimes, the exploits of college baseball go unnoticed to the masses unless you’re one of the top draft pick candidates or on a powerhouse team competing in the college world series. One of those exploits that went unnoticed in NCAA play this season was a home run by Amherst against Wesleyan when their left fielder ran straight through the fence tracking a home run ball. In his defense, there was no warning track and his teammates didn’t warn him of the fast-approaching fence.
